Bhutan is a small kingdom with the border of 1139 kilometres. It is located in the eastern part of the Himalayan mountain range. The kingdom of Bhutan is surrounded by China on the north and northwest along with India in the east, south and southwest. It covers the area of 14,824.0 sq mi with the highest point being Gangkhar Puensum and Drangme Chuu the lowest point. Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan and the main facilitate city with the highest number of tourist attraction.

The climate of Bhutan varies according to the elevation and seasons. There is a presence of humid and subtropical climate in the southern plains and foothills. The inner southern and central Himalayan valleys have temperate climate whereas cold in the northern part of the country. The Himalayan region of Bhutan receives snowfall in a part of the year and Western part of the Kingdom is affected monsoons.
